Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Myrtle is a beautiful tricolor beagle who embodies the perfect blend of curiosity and relaxation. With her glossy black, warm brown, and crisp white coat, and her soulful, loving eyes, Myrtle is the kind of companion who will win your heart in an instant.
True to her beagle nature, Myrtle has an insatiable sense of curiosity. Her nose is her guide, and she delights in sniffing out all the little mysteries the world has to offer. Whether it’s exploring the backyard, investigating an intriguing scent on a walk, or simply poking her nose into your day-to-day activities, Myrtle approaches everything with a sense of wonder and enthusiasm.
But when the exploring is done, Myrtle knows how to switch gears and embrace her chill side. She’s the ultimate "chillax" expert, ready to stretch out in a sunny patch on the floor, snuggle up on the couch, or simply lounge by your side. Myrtle’s calm, laid-back demeanor makes her the ideal companion for a cozy night in, and she’ll happily keep you company with her quiet presence and occasional gentle nuzzles.
Myrtle’s balance of curiosity and relaxation makes her a truly special beagle. She’s always ready for an adventure when you are—but she’s just as happy to unwind and enjoy life’s quieter moments. With Myrtle in your life, you’ll have a best friend who knows how to sniff out the fun and savor the calm, all while stealing your heart one wag of her tail at a time.
Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $275+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs.
Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
