Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Yasha is about 2 years old, very sweet, always happy. We adopted her when she was about 5 months old, and we've been trying to make things work, but unfortunately she's too exuberant for our other two dogs, and the situation is too stressful for everyone involved (the rescue we originally got her from unfortunately is unwilling to help). The only thing we know about her past is she was an owner surrender, so we don't know if she's purebred, but she's definitely at least mostly malinois.
Yasha would absolutely thrive as either a solo dog (she'd probably LOVE agility or anything sporty), or with another dog more her size and up for some roughhousing. She's not very smart (we joke she's a golden retriever in a malinois suit) but she makes up for it with enthusiasm!
She's potty trained, crate trained, and knows basic obedience stuff, but still struggles with impulse control. She just really wants to play with everyone and everything!
