This shy, fearful puppy has been learning to trust the world around him, but he’s still a bit nervous about human interaction. With patience and love, Ragtime is starting to open up, and he’s ready to find his forever home with someone who understands his unique needs. He’s got plenty of energy and curiosity, and once he feels comfortable, he’ll be your loyal companion, exploring the world by your side. A quiet, patient environment would be ideal as Ragtime takes his time to blossom into the loving pup he’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a furry friend to help you experience the true joy of patience and growth, Ragtime could be your perfect match! Venturing outside is a favorite for Ragtime but constant supervision is a requirement until he is more comfortable with his environment as he is a run risk. We are working hard on getting comfortable walking with a slip lead and harness as well.

Soul Dog is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization founded with the mission to spay/neuter and protect animals. We are currently a small group of committed volunteers making a difference in the life of one animal at a time. As an all volunteer administration, all donations made to Soul Dog go directly to improving the health of the pets that share our lives.
Soul Dog is proactive in animal welfare advancing the need for spaying and neutering our pets to reduce overpopulation. We travel to rural communities on Native American reservations, where spaying and neutering will only happen if it is nearly free or very convenient. Soul Dog works with volunteer veterinarians to provide the spaying and neutering service at no cost to the public. Donations are used to defray the costs associated with medications, supplies, and the operating cost for clinics.
