Yoshi is about 4 years old, exact age unknown. We found him as a stray in July 2021. Life was manageable with two other dogs. As a stray, he showed signs of possible past trauma. Within the first year, he grew to trust us and became very lovable and loyal towards those he felt comfortable with. He loves petting, playing, and running. A perfect lap dog for those who give him love and attention. He takes monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks, and heart worms, and daily trazodone for anxiety. Very healthy now, but after having 2 kids, the resulting environment has proven too stressful, and his behavior has regressed. Common triggers are food competition, perceived threats, or feeling cornered. May bark, jump, or bite if triggered. He would do well in a home without small children and few or no other pets. Having a large yard to play in or time for walks is a plus. He still has a tendency to tug and bark while walking, so more leash training is needed. Any questions, just ask! Thank you!
