Evie is an adorable 1-year-old female Yorkie, weighing in at a tiny 4 lbs. She’s a beautiful blonde parti with a sweet and cuddly personality that will steal your heart. Despite her small size, she’s a determined little lady with a smart, independent streak. This girl is quick to learn and will keep you on your toes with her playful and curious nature.
She’s best suited for a home with adults or older children that are home most of the time, as she thrives in a calm, loving environment where she can get all the attention she craves. She enjoys other dogs and cats and would love to have furry brothers or sisters close to her size. While she may be small, she’s also a bit of an escape artist, so she will require a fenced yard and close supervision whenever she is outside. She’s quite the clever one when it comes to finding her way out of tight spots!
Coming from a commercial breeder background, she’s ready to find a home where she can experience the love and care she deserves. If you’re looking for a sweet, determined little companion who loves to snuggle and be by your side, this Yorkie is the perfect match for you. Don’t miss out on the chance to welcome this adorable girl into your family!
Evie is up to date on vaccines and spayed. She is being fostered in Chester Springs and all prospective adopters should be prepared to travel to the foster home. There is a home visit and meet and greet with any resident animals is part of the application process. If you are interested in giving Evie her best home please apply today at http://www.zoeshouserescue.com.

Who We Are:
Zoe's House, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare group based out of Sinking Spring,PA. We are comprised solely of volunteers that generously volunteer their time, their homes and their hearts. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless, neglected or abandoned animals from high kill shelters or from owners who can no longer care for them. We provide the animals with loving foster care, veterinary treatment and rehabilitation until we are able to pair them with compatible and loving forever homes. At times we also offer permanent sanctuary to those with special or medical needs and that are considered unadoptable.
Zoe's House serves as a resource to our community and to our adopters by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, the importance of spay/neuter, behavior training, nutrition, puppy mill awareness, heartworm preventative and breed education. Our organization also networks with other shelters and rescues. We try to assist other organizations when possible.
Zoe’s House is not federally funded, and relies solely on donations to continue to rescue. Although we are not breed specific, the need to save Dobermans, Rottweilers, German Shepherds and Pitbulls is ever growing; therefore, we have focused primarily on saving the lives of our beloved and majestic strong breeds.
What We do:
There are many people involved in the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of each dog we take in. Our rescue effort starts with the initial intake request for a dog. Whether this be at a shelter of from an individual in the community, we try to gather as much information as we can. We then pickup or transport the dog to safety in rescue. At this time we administer immediate veterinary care to determine the health of the dog and ensure the animal has proper immunizations. We also have bloodwork done for a heartworm check, lyme, fecal and sometimes a blood panel depending on the age and health of the dog. The dog remains in "in-home" foster care and becomes a part of the fosters family for an undefined period of time. We evaluate the dog and work on basic manners and obedience. At times we have dogs for a longer duration due to health and/or age. The dogs in our care come with us to adoption events, home screenings, and ultimately permanent placement. Zoe's House then provides post-adoption follow-up and support and welcomes the new family to the "Zoe's House Family!" We strive to stay in close contact with all of our adopters to ensure the transition and life long relationship continues to be magical. We remain dedicated to the principal that we never want one of our rescues to end up in a shelter or in a home that does not provide a responsible and loving environment for the life of the animal.
We truly believe that one dog at a time... we are making a difference!
