My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A SWEETHEART OF A PUPPY:  Approx. 7 months old / Approx. 30 lbs. & growing

Hi, my name is Juno – a pretty girl with beautiful eyes!  Somehow, I ended up at animal control as a younger pup.  Thankfully, Mostly Mutts came for me, and I have been soaking up the love and attention from the dedicated volunteers.  I was adopted for several weeks but it wasn’t a good fit, so I’m back with MM’s and in the prison/foster training program learning a lot. Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to find out when I'm available to meet.

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met dogs in the prison/foster training program, and I enjoy playing with them, so if you have a nice dog that would like a puppy friend, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  The volunteers describe me a as ‘a real sweetheart who just wants love’.  I have typical puppy higher energy and I’m so sweet that the photographer said I was her ‘favorite’ (sshhhh … don’t tell the others).  Affectionate and playful with a gentle spirit, you are sure to fall in love! My trainer reports that I’m the sweetest dog ever and that’s saying a lot! / My energy level is 6-8 so let’s plan to be active together.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’ and ‘stay’ commands and my trainers expect me to be a graduate very soon, because I’m a fast learner! / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty habits have been very good in the prison/foster training program, so keep me on a good schedule and I think I’ll do very well.

• LIKES/DISLIKES:  Like most puppies, I LOVE to play – though I am also quite the love bug and welcome every opportunity to cuddle and give kisses.  Fall is my favorite season, because I LOVE to play in the leaves.  I don’t just chase them and jump in leaf piles.  I actually ‘surf’ through the leaves – making tracks while dragging myself along in the perfect sploot – so cute! I also love to play with tennis balls. / I’m not a fan of the rain, as it spoils my fun play sessions.  Otherwise, I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.

• MEDICAL:  I'm current on my immunizations, micro-chipped and spayed.

If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, let’s meet!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process

Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:

Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!

Adoption Info:
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.

Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.

Thank you for your patience and support!

More about this rescue

Who We Are:

Mostly Mutts is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization, staffed almost entirely by volunteers!

Our Mission is to help the Unwanted, Abandoned, Abused and Sick animals in our local counties. We fulfill this mission by working closely with County Animal Control Facilities, saving those who are in imminent danger of euthanasia, or those with needs which require specialized vet care that many other groups will not consider: major orthopedic issues, heartworm positive treatment, skin conditions, neglect and abuse

Please visit our website, www.mostlymutts.org for additional information about adopting a new best friend!
