Psst.... Hey you...Future Mom and Dad...over here...yeah my name is Ruby. I came to the shelter on `1/24. That's sad because I'm a new kid on the block who would really like a loving home as soon as possible. I have been described as a gorgeous pup with a heart of gold. I am is very sweet and loving but I am scared, quiet in my run, but I am obedient. I am house trained. If you give me a chance and let me decompress in an environment that is much nicer and quieter, I can open up and let my personality shine through. I would love to have a family will help me become an awesome pup that I know I am and that will include me on grand adventures.
I am also a pretty smart gal as I know simple commands such as sit when asked which is awesome! I take treats very gently too! I may know more and would be the perfect student if someone would take the time to teach me. My greatest wish is for a great family to welcome me into their home and take the time to train me properly so I will never return to a loud, overcrowded shelter ever again. With your patience and love, I am going to need you now more than ever. Can you please help me get of this shelter so I can live the best life possible? Please come see me soon and get to know more about me. I could be the greatest pup you have been waiting for!
Ruby is UTD on vaccines, will be spayed and microchipped upon her adoption. Unfortunately, Ruby did test positive for heartworms, but with proper treatment and care she can go on to live out her young years. Please speak with shelter staff about the option of fostering to adopt while she receives treatment. This was not her fault in any way so please let her live her life out healthy and happily. Please. She doesn't deserve to live out in a loud shelter when she should be in a warm home living her best life. Please, please help her find her way home! She will be waiting for you to turn her life around for the better in Run 834 and her ID is 7737. Ruby is just 5 years old and weighs in at approx. 44lbs.
