All children in the home must be at least 5 years of age. We appreciate your understanding of these policies. Blackie and his 4 siblings have never known anything by love. They were born in their foster home and thankfully never had to endure being given away while very pregnant like their mom Amber. They are Boston Terrier mix pups and they look a lot like their mom. Born on 9/26/24 they are still small like their mom who is less than 15 lbs. They are so fun to watch when they are playing and then in typical puppy fashion they snuggle up and crash for a nap, Blackie is going to be a wonderful pet so if you are looking for a new addition check him out! Like all puppies, Blackie needs an adopter who is willing to train and work with him to help him be the best dog he can be. The first step in our process is to complete an adoption application. This lets us know more about you, your family and your other pets.

Approve Application

After receiving your application we will complete our pre-adoption verification and vet check

3.
Meet the Pet

After completing our vet check and approving your application, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.

4.
Take the Pet Home

Adoption Prerequisites:
All animals in your home over 6 months of age must be spayed/neutered
All animals in your home must be current on vaccinations
All current/past dogs in your home must be current on heart worm preventative and have a history of providing the medication year round
All adoptions to residents of the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex only
Vet check is required for all adoptions

Our Adoption Process:

Step 1: If you are interested in meeting one of our pets, the first step is to complete an online application by going to roadtrip4paws.com and clicking on the Adopt tab to find a link to our application.

Step 2: After we receive your application, we will review it to ensure it meets our adoption criteria and do a vet check to verify your current and/or past pets are/were spayed/neutered, to date on vaccinations and up to date on heart worm preventative year round.

Step 3: After completing our pre-adoption process and vet check, we will contact you.
