Introducing Paddywhack (Paddy), a stunning 10-month-old tabby with unique, beautiful markings. Rescued from a local impound, Paddy arrived alongside her companions, including the confident Big Daddy, and is now searching for her forever home where she can truly thrive.
Paddy is a gentle and reserved kitty who may take a little time to adjust to new people. However, with patience and a gentle approach, she is slowly coming out of her shell. Her growth has been encouraged by the companionship of Big Daddy, who has shown her the joys of human affection and how to feel safe in her surroundings.
Paddy has also been around other cats and dogs and, with proper introductions, could integrate well into a multi-pet household. She would do best in a calm and quiet environment, where she can settle in at her own pace. A smaller, more tranquil space to begin with would help her feel secure and provide the ideal setting to build her confidence.
While Paddy may initially need time to adjust, her gentle nature and sweet personality are well worth the wait. In the right home, she will blossom into a loving and affectionate companion, eager to share her heart once she feels safe.
Paddy loves to snuggle up in cozy spots with Big Daddy, and she’s always curious, exploring her environment and learning about the world around her. Paddy and Big Daddy are bonded and must go to a home together. Please click here to learn more about Big Daddy!
If you're looking for a patient, gentle, and loving kitty who will bond with you over time, Paddywhack may be the perfect match!
Paddywhack is from a local impound. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.

If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
