My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Please contact Donna (donna_casner@comcast.net) for more information about this pet.Wendell is a confident, sweet, playful, 3 month old kitten looking for a home.  Along with his brother Wellington, Wendell has been fostered with two large, loud dogs - and he doesn't mind them one bit!

Wendell purrs when you touch him.  He loves to play but when he is tired, he likes to snuggle.

Wendell has been fostered as part of the family.  He is comfortable with dogs, other cats and children. He should adjust easily to a new home.

He always uses the litterbox and will let you easily trim his claws with clippers.

Wendell tested negative for FIV and FeLV.  He is up-to-date on vaccines and is microchipped.

Wendell is scheduled to be neutered on February 10th.  If all goes as planned, he will be ready to go to his new home a few days later.

Wendell is available for adoption through Castaway Critters in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.  If you are intersted in Wendell, please contact his foster Donna for more information at donna_casner@comcast.net.

Additional adoption info

We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. For more information, see our website at www.castawaycritters.org.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All of our animals are in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting them. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

Please also check out our events page on our website as fosters sometimes bring their available animals out to meet people!

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
