My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Boaty!

Boaty is a 9-month-old purebred Labrador Retriever who checks every box for the perfect family companion! This handsome boy is house-trained, crate-trained, and fantastic on a leash. His manners are impeccable, making him a joy to have at home and out and about with you.

Boaty absolutely adores kids of all sizes, dogs, and even cats—his heart is as big as his love for everyone he meets! Whether it’s playtime in the yard, snuggles on the couch, or adventures on a walk, Boaty is always ready to be by your side.  His owner was sad being unable to take Boaty along when he moved.

With his friendly nature and well-rounded personality, Boaty is truly the total package. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and fun-filled addition to your home, Boaty is your boy!

Hurry and apply on your laptop or computer at www.peace4paws.org/adoption-application. He arrives on February 23 in NJ.

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
