Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Artoo is 6 years old. He is completely house broken, doesnt chew, is fairly low energy, and gets along extremely well with all other animals - he lives with chickens, cats, and has lived with several other dogs as well. He loves walks, camping, and lounging in the sun, and occasionally enjoys singing and talking. He goes to dog parks and has never shown aggression to any other animal. He knows lots of tricks and is very treat motivated. He has some anxiety and doesnt do well in situations where hes forced to interact with lots of people. He doesnt seem to like children, especially older ones, which is the reason he has to be rehomed - he has nipped at our kids friends a few times, and is very stressed by the noise and activity that kids bring. He would thrive in a calmer home with a person who understands his anxiety. He would do very well in a farm setting as he loves the outdoors but has also done well in an apartment. We joke that hes like a cat trapped in a dog body.
