Garfield is a big, lovable ball of orange fluff with a personality as soft as his coat. At 2 years old, this mellow guy has mastered the art of sunbathing. Garfield has a sweet, laid-back nature and will happily spend his days chilling by your side, purring up a storm as you scratch behind his ears. He’s a sweet old soul, who will always greet you with a slow blink or a nudge of affection. He is also a professional biscuit maker! Garfield is looking for someone to share all the lazy days and cozy nights with!
Garfield very much lives up to his namesake! He is a big boy weighing in at 12lbs! He is a food connoisseur in the making and never turns down a meal! He is a little bit spoiled in his foster home and is a wet food enthusiast.
He is the perfect houseguest and spends majority of his days lounging around the home. He doesn’t mind if you have a busy schedule as long as you come home and snuggle him afterwards!
Garfield is currently fostered in an adult only home with other cats and dogs. He would do best with a female cat companion or as your one and only lover boy! We also believe he would flourish in a similar home environment with adults or respectful kids. While he doesn’t seem to mind the dogs barking, he probably would prefer a quieter home environment without pups. He is loving his foster home but is ready for a home to call his own!

Available for adoption in UT, ID, OR, WA, VT, CT, VA, NY, PA, OH & Canada (Canadian adopter must pick up in Washington state i.e. Bellingham, WA or closest U.S stop)! Our cats travel in comfort with 24/7 care on USDA licensed vehicles including buses and cargo vans, ensuring a stress-free journey. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing constant updates throughout their transport journey! One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick-up location to you!
The adoption fee is $425 and includes all vetting: FVRCP vaccines (minimum of 2 but could be more depending on age and time in the program), FeLV vaccines, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a health certificate deeming the kitty healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!
