Nola was an owner surrender from a local reservation. Nola is the sweetest girl!! She is gentle and loving and will greet you with a great big smile. She is good left alone in the house, gentle with treats, and loves toys. She would be good alone or with another dog in the house. She does have a mild herding instinct and may herd smaller dogs or cats, but it hasn't been a big issue in her foster home. She has been around children in her past and has done well. Her foster has seen her do some food guarding around the resident dogs, but not people. She isn't mean with food guarding and will listen when told no. She is house trained. This girl will make someone a very loyal companion. I can't say enough about this sweet girl.
I just joined my foster family and we are still getting acquainted with one another. Once they learn more about me, they will add more information here!
Nola is from a local reservation. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page.
If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
