My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I don't know what's more to love, Kuzko McDreamy's adorable baby face or his phenomenal personality. I joke around that he's going to steal your girlfriend or if you're a single guy he's going be the perfect wingman because of how adorable he is. He has the type of face that makes you almost get that uncontrollable urge to squeeze their squishy little face, as if their cuteness is to much for your heart to handle --- like your love for them is just bursting out in an adorable, squishy explosion! That's what it's like when you meet Kuzko. You know it's ridiculous, but you just can't help but want to smoosh them because he's that adorable.

Watch his video and you'll see all the reasons why we love him so much: https://youtu.be/_sby5Z7aOvI?si=yCiQJC2rYawX8u6W

Kuzko is a petite pittie mix approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 58 lbs and is on the smaller side. He's not too big and not too small. Kuzko is the perfect size if you are looking for a lap dog and the perfect size if your looking for a big dog too. He's the best of both worlds.

One of my favorite things about Kuzko is his ability to adjust his energy to whatever you need it to be and he does it so seamlessly. You're able to get him super hyped up to the point to where he's zooming around and then when you want him to be calm, he immediately calms down and sits like a good boy. You can see it for yourself in his video. His adaptability makes him a perfect companion for so many things! Want to go for a hike? Kuzko will go exploring with you. Are you the type of person that likes to go for a run? Kuzko will put on his running shoes for you. Are you having a day where you're just feeling lazy and want to stay home watching movies all day? Kuzko will be happy to snuggle with you all day. He is the perfect mixture of everything you could ever want in a furry best friend.

Kuzko is dog friendly and has been introduced to a wide variety of dogs all with different personalities. His favorite play mates are the dogs that have a happy go-lucky submissive personality that like to play but also know when it's time for a play break. He also appreciates when he is with pups that are not too pushy with their play either. Kuzko enjoys romping around the yard with other dogs, playing a game of "tag you're it," and occasionally enjoys the rumble and tumble of a good wrestling match with the right dog. If you don't have other dogs, Kuzko is totally fine with that. He is always happiest when he is surrounded by his favorite people and he loves everyone! While he will happily play with another dog that matches his play style, his eyes light up when he's getting loved on and he doesn't need the company of another dog to help him feel comfortable. Besides, I don't think he'll mind being the center of your attention anyways. He'll soak it all up.

Kuzko has also shown to be cat friendly as well. We introduced him to our resident kitty at the rescue and at first was a little unsure and scared of her. After some time he started to feel more comfortable around her even though he was still a little scared of her but he was respectful about her space. We do not know if he has ever lived in a home with a cat before but we believe with slow and proper introductions he has the potential to live harmoniously with a kitty friend in the home.

Kuzko is smart too! He is crate and potty trained, knows how to sit, walks easy on a leash and is treat motivated. He loves tasty snacks and is eager to please his humans. So if you're the type of person that wants to be train your pup cool tricks, Kuzko will happily learn new tricks with you. Another one of my favorite things about Kuzko is the way he invites you to play with him and his favorite toys. Kuzko will trot over to you, tail wagging and all, with the toy of his choice and will gently nudge you either placing the toy in your hands, dropping it at your feet, or even bringing it to your face if the angle is right. Whether it's a squeaky ball, a plush bear, you name it; Kuzko will bring it to you every time inviting you in for some playtime together. He also enjoys being outside and would love a home that has a backyard where he can get the occasional zoomies, soak up the sun, and explore every corner, always finding new things to sniff and discover.

We are willing to test Kuzko McDreamy with anything you need us to in order to ensure it is the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know!

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.
Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!
Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.
It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
