If you're looking for a best friend to share your time with, look no further! Tillie is ready for the job! If you are an active runner, hiker or just a daily walker Tillie is your girl. Gentle on a leash with a collected enthusiasm to be out and about. Slow introductions to other house dogs and even cats has given Tillie an opportunity to shine, is there anything this dog can't do??!! Loves her crate and is quiet as a church mouse overnight, but is trustworthy to be on her own too. Tillie is 2-3 years old, athletic, and a blonde bombshell. She makes friends wherever she goes!!!

More about this shelter

The Bastrop Animal Control organization became a reality in 1998. We've grown since then and continue to do so as Bastrop County grows. Currently, we have 3 separate buildings containing a total of 90 large indoor/outdoor kennels and 8 play yards. We have 30 indoor cat kennels. We also have a 3 room cattery, that enables cats to live together in colony type environments until they find their forever home. If you have ever worked with or adopted a shelter pet, you know just how much they crave the attention and love we and our volunteers can provide and their eternal gratitude when they find their forever home at last.
