Meet Willie!

Willie is a snuggly, sunshine-loving pup who thrives with a dog buddy by his side! He enjoys exploring the great outdoors and soaking up the sun, though he’s still working on his leash skills—he just gets so excited about all the new smells. Willie loves a good game of fetch, but sometimes he gets hilariously distracted by his playmates mid-chase!

He’s a little sassy and isn’t easily intimidated by bigger dogs. Willie will need a family that is willing to provide him with plenty of exercise and continue his training to help him be his best self. If you’re looking for a fun-loving pup to add some joy to your days, Willie might just be your perfect match!

We review and schedule meets (with approved applicants only) based on the order received.

Keep in mind these are young puppies with a life expectancy of up to 15 years. Our guiding principle for adoptions is to seek the right fit for family and for dog, including a home that can stay committed to him/her for life

Adopt Me! Bluegrass Pet Rescue is a tax exempt, 501(c)(3), No Kill Rescue focusing on the adoption of homeless pets. We are also host to "PAWS BEHIND BARS" which is a basic obedience prison training program based out of Luther Luckett Correctional Complex in Oldham County, KY.
