Jumbo is a gentle soul who can be shy at first but has a sweet and loving nature once he feels comfortable. With a little patience and plenty of kindness, he'll warm up and show his affectionate side. He may benefit from having a calm social dog to show him the ropes in his new home! He's looking for a calm home where he can build trust at his own pace.

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.
