Age: 13 years young (but don’t tell him that-he still thinks he’s a puppy-just with a little extra cushion)

Breed: Bulldog mix with a heart of gold and a little more to love

Personality: Friendly, loving and convinced every human was put on Earth to pet him

Personal Goals: Needs to lose around 20 lbs (but believes “husky” is a compliment)

- Making new friends (humans, dogs, cats, delivery drivers-everyone!)

We don't have a facility, so we screen applicants thoroughly before we set up a meet and greet. We conduct a vet check, reference check and a home check. We typical set up the meet at the adoptive home so the home check can be completed at the same time. If both parties agree the pup is a good fit we complete the adoption agreement and accept the adoption fee.

We are tackling the problem one animal at a time. Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue is a St. Augustine, Florida-based 501(c)(3) supporting adoption, spay and neuter, and responsible care of animals. Along with education, outreach, and adoption and fostering programs, Ayla’s Acres also maintains a 45-acre sanctuary where “unadoptable” animals may live out their lives with peace, love, and dignity.
