Looking for a new FBF (furry best friend)? Look no further than Dottie (hey, hey, that's me!) and I'm here looking to adopt me a family...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of your family!!!!
I am now ready to start on this new chapter of my life with lots of hugs, puppy kisses and playtime!!! I came from a hoarding situation where I was housed with 96 (yes, 96!) other dogs. I have never known until now the kind words, gentle pets that other pups take for granted. I am finding that this is pretty darn nice!! I'm all for these snuggles and belly rubs!!
As for my previous situation, I will need time to come to terms with my living situation. Once you have gained my trust with slow movements, gentle words and maybe a treat or two ;) I do become very loving sweet and cuddly. It just takes me a little more time then some to get there, but I do get there!!
I'm probably around 3 years old and I come in at about 10lbs. I'm also already house trained so that lets us get right to the snuggles!!! I love playing and am energetic, ready to share in all your adventures from the mundane daily to your weekend exciting!! I do good in the crate but would much prefer being close to my person!!
I would do best in a quiet home where my person(s) are either retired or work from home. I would also do best in a home with another 4 legged sibling to help me feel more comfortable.
I've got a beautiful white and black coat that is super easy in the maintenance department, kind of a wash-n-go type of gal. You do know what that means, don't ya? Yep yep, more time for the spoil me rotten department!!
I am sooooo ready to find me a family and be that lil heartbeat at your feet or preferably on your lap, so if you think I'd be a pawsome fit for your home and you have the time and patience to let me find my peace, please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application!

Hay Dude Equine Rescue, in Boerne, TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs, are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each pup comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.
