PORKCHOP!!! Porkchop is as delectable and worthy of adoration as his namesake. He is the sweetest lovebug who really just wants to do whatever it is you are doing/be wherever it is you are - whether that's going on a long walk and sniffing every tree and post there is, playing with his toys in his crate while he watches you make dinner, or lounging on the couch full potato-style, watching tv and cuddling (he is a BIG snuggler!). He has a very quiet and gentle demeanor but has a bubbling, curious and silly energy underneath that can really make you laugh. He doesn't make much of a peep - besides snoring! - and doesn't have any destructive tendencies (doesn't chew anything or get his nose in places it doesn't belong). He's totally unfazed by usual apartment noises (footsteps, other voices, people walking by the windows). He is fully house-broken and even will stand by the front door to let you know he needs to go. He is very comfortable with his crate, too, which makes bedtime a breeze - he sleeps through the night like a champ. And as much as he wants to spend all day using you as a pillow, he is very comfortable being left alone/in his crate. He settles right down and knows that his crate equals relaxing nap time!

He is a very sturdy and strong boy packed into his adorable 50lb body, so we are working on how we properly walk on a leash and not pull too much and he's been making INCREDIBLE progress. We're practicing our patience and we're really getting the hang of it! He now knows to sit and wait when we approach the crosswalks and spends most of the walk trotting comfortably at my side. He passes by other walkers, runners, and bikers with no problem. He's definitely interested in other pups on the street and while he is, in most cases, easily redirected to keep walking along, he sometimes barks at other dogs. He is food-motivated enough though that we are starting to work on sitting calmly with treats while letting other dogs pass us by from a safe distance.

I really can't say enough good things about him, Porkchop is really the best dog. I know he would make such a silly and loveable addition to your home and heart.
