My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Missy, what's yours?? I'm around 6 years old, and I'm looking for a loving new family to call my own.

I was brought to the shelter after being found as a stray. Now I'm ready for the adventure a new family will bring, and I can't wait for my new life to start!

Since I've been at the shelter I am up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and I also have a microchip.

I'm a bit selective with other dogs, so if you have other pups at home we would just need to meet before my adoption so that we are sure we will be friends!

More than anything I love people and just want to be loved! If you think I'm the pup that is meant to be a part of your family please stop by the shelter and spend some time getting to know me!

More about this shelter

The Animal Friends of Westmoreland is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless, abandoned and abused dogs and cats. It depends on donations, sponsorships and other tangible support from local residents and businesses.

Our vision is a self sustaining, no-kill shelter which will house the animals until they find their forever home. Additionally, it is our goal to breed awareness, stimulate education and inspire the public to become animal advocates.

The Animal Friends of Westmoreland is a voice for those that cannot speak. Join us in speaking for those that need us most . . . the animals.
