hi Sergeant!

This handsome fellow is a 4-year-old Belgian shepherd. He was found as a stray in Philadelphia and brought to the local animal control shelter. When nobody came forward to claim him, we quickly scooped him up and brought him to us. He is 54 lbs.

Sergent is amazing. He has been easy going and friendly with all volunteers. He responds well to our commands, knows sit and walks well on the leash. While he is a bit too skinny, he clearly had a pretty good home at one point of his life that put in the effort to socialize him well. We would consider him an "easier Belgian" though he is still a very smart boy that loves activity. He is looking for an experienced family that will continue working with him and help him continue gain weight. While 54 lbs doesn't sound too bad for a mal, he is taller than your average Belgian.

He would need to meet any resident dogs.

He will come neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and 4dx tested.

Our volunteer will work on approval which includes landlord / vet / personal references and a conversation with the applicant

After approval, we will set an appointment with the pet you chose or for open meets with pets that fit the criteria

Sign Adoption Contract

If you love the dog, you will sign the adoption paperwork, pay the adoption fee and the pup is yours!
