My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gorgeous Whisper was surrendered to our care in late November 2024, as her owner was no longer able to care for her.

When Whisper came into our care, she was covered in fleas and dealing with flea bite dermatitis. Her back and tail were chewed raw and infected. Poor Whisper was not a happy girl and her personality reflected her discomfort. We were thankful to be able to get her the help she needed.

Fast forward 2 1/2 months, and Whisper is a different cat altogether. Her skin has healed and her coat is soft and shiny. While Whisper is not a total ultimate lapcat, she does allow petting and handling. But mostly Whisper likes to play!

The purrfect home for Whisper would be indoor only (she cannot risk exposure to fleas) with someone who has experience with bossy cats / reading the body language of a beautiful cat like Whisper.

Absolutely Whisper needs a home where she has someone who will play with her. And someone who will understand that beautiful cats like her need to be pampered and revered. Whisper deserves the best, and she knows it!

Whisper is spayed, and has been treated for fleas and parasites, vaccinated (FVRCP and Rabies), and microchipped.

If you would like to schedule an appointment to meet Whisper, please reach out to us at info@catsofsaltspring.com / 236-508-2287. Whisper will fit you into her busy schedule at her earliest convenience!

We also hold adoption events to feature our adoptable cats and kittens both in Victoria (at Capital Cat Clinic) and on Salt Spring Island (at Whiskers Pet Store and Foxglove Farm and Garden Centre).
