This is what her foster family has to say about her:
Salem is a sweet and loving 3-year-old dog who will quickly become a beloved member of your family. She’s affectionate, happy, and loves to snuggle—whether it`s in bed or on the couch, she’s happiest when she’s close to her people. Salem is strong, quick, and playful, but she’s also content to relax around the house, often lounging or playing in the yard.
Salem is an intelligent dog who seems to understand exactly what her foster family is saying to her—whether it’s the tone of your voice or a comforting hug, she’s somehow in tune with her family’s needs. Salem’s bond with other animals is just as special; she’s adjusted well to living with two cats in her foster home, and after an initial adjustment period, they now rule the roost! While Salem is generally friendly with most people, she does have a way of letting others know when she needs space, giving a gentle growl if she feels uncomfortable—nothing to worry about, just her way of saying “I need a little break.”
Salem loves car rides and enjoys her trips to the dog park, where she can run, play, and stretch her legs. Over time, she’s become more relaxed and confident, no longer showing signs of the anxiety she once had when she first arrived. Her foster family believes she would fit into any home where she’s treated as a true family member. With her affectionate nature and easygoing temperament, Salem is ready to bring warmth and love to a home that can offer her a place to snuggle, play, and grow.
Salem is more than just a dog—she’s a loving companion who will bring warmth, gentleness, and joy to your home. If you`re looking for a loyal companion who will feel like a member of the family, Salem just might be your perfect match!
Salem is currently in foster care outside of the shelter. If you are interested in learning more or meeting Salem, please complete the survey using the link below(copy and paste):
All dogs and cats will be spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, preventative care, and microchipped.
