WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: I cannot say enough good things about this little guy, he’s as close to perfect as a puppy gets. If you’re looking for a best friend who will do anything with you, Perry is your guy!
He absolutely LOVES other dogs and loves people. He’s potty trained and crate trained. He will let you know when he needs to go outside by standing near the front door and goes into his crate without a peep. He’s also very calm in the home (especially for a puppy!), he naps most of the day or just likes to look out the window or chew on a Nyla-bone. He also doesn’t bark often and doesn’t chew on anything he’s not supposed to. Perry loves to play but doesn’t really try to initiate play with my senior dog and happily coexists with him in the home, sharing all toys/food/treats with no issues! He doesn’t beg for food and will just lay near you while eating (although he will happily eat whatever you give him.) He’s great on a leash during walks and will curl up in your lap afterwards for the rest of the day.
He such a joyful, affectionate and goofy little guy, who loves cuddling and just wants to be as close to his person as possible. He’s constantly laying in someone’s lap or tucking himself into a pile of blankets. He’s also so funny and constantly making us laugh with the silly things he does, like throwing his toy around for himself or chasing his own tail. Perry is going to be such an easy addition to any home!
Perry, is a young, sweet soul who is eager to make your acquaintance. His personality shines through his friendly and playful demeanor, making every day brighter. Perry's gentle nature is truly heartwarming. He's had no accidents so far in the house with his foster and is already learning new tricks, which is a testament to his intelligence and adaptability. His excellent leash manners make walks in the park a joy. He's lived with dogs in his foster home and has shown remarkable signs of respecting his foster-sibling's boundaries and playstyle. He loves to play though and would be happy with another dog to play with in the home or friends he can play with outside the house! Perry has also made for a great office dog, going to work with his foster and greeting guests and coworkers alike, while remaining quiet and well mannered in the office.
Perry's got all the makings of a perfect companion, his love and loyalty waiting to be given to his forever family. His playful spirit and sweet disposition are sure to enrich any home. Adopt Perry and experience the pure, unconditional love only a pet can give.
ATTRIBUTES: Perry has done well with other dogs.
