Meet Sweet Rusty!! Rusty is a major sweetiepie! He is a Cairn Terrier/Spaniel/Hound mix who we just reclaimed after he was found roaming on the streets. Rusty is being fostered in a home with other small dogs and a cat, and he does Great with everyone! He's housetrained, walks great on a leash, travels well in a car, and is a Master Snuggle boy!! He loves people, loves to be pet and is calm and quiet with an occasional Ruff to tell you how he's feeling. We've fallen in love with Rusty and we think You will too!

Gurrs and Purrs is a private,federally registered 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue organization. Our mission is to provide care and rehabilitation for dogs and cats that have been abandoned, abused and neglected and to provide as many of these deserving animals a second chance at loving permanent homes. We also stress the importance of educating the community regarding proper pet care including spay/neuter and micro chipping. Gurrs and Purrs relies solely on volunteers and individual donations.
