My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Punky!

I’m a 4 year old, 10 lb, neutered black terrier mini Shnauzer mix who was found wandering as a stray all alone in San Bernardino. I’m a happy boy who loves to cuddle and get belly rubs from my human. I love car rides and going on walky walks around my neighborhood. I’m up-to-date on all my vaccinations.

My foster mommy says that I adjusted very well to an eating (I’m a good eater) and sleeping schedule right away. I’m good with other dogs and have become friends with the 2 cats in my foster home.

I have separation anxiety and cry when I’m by myself, but I’m fine and content when someone is around. I’m very playful, love to run chasing my ball and playing with my squeaky toys.

I’m friendly to humans when they come over after I bark and smell them. I have to get to know new people and then I’m good with them.

Punky is being crate trained and being given basic training due to resource guarding.

More about this rescue

Dream Team Angels Rescue is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of homeless animals, many of whom are rescued at the very last moment from euthanasia at municipal shelters and have medical needs. We provide safe haven to all those who find their way to us through whatever circumstances, whether abandoned, injured or neglected. No matter the breed, health or age, we believe that all should live secure, healthy lives. We work tirelessly in our attempts to find the right homes with people who will love their pets for a lifetime. We strive to find the most amazing home for each dog by performing home checks and getting to know our adopters. We stay in touch with our adopters and love to get updates and pictures!

Rescue responsibly. Please spay and neuter, and adopt rather than shop. If you wish to foster or adopt from DTAR please contact us. We look forward to working with you in saving lives.
