My name is Auggie!

This is Auggie, an English Bulldog. We "rescued" him from a young military family when he was 9 months during Covid. We think he is about 5 years old. Auggie loves swimming! LOVES SWIMMING! He is not a barker and not destructive of household items. He does love toys, playing tug of war and snuggling. He is house trained and utilizes a doggy door to go in and out of the backyard. He was not protective of his food with our other dog who was much bigger but not sure how he would be with others. He likes riding in cars and going on trips. He is good on a leash but if he wants to move he will start biting the leash and pulling on it. Auggies is protective within his house. No major medical conditions or costs outside a typical bulldog. Looking for a home that can spend a lot of time with him. Preferably one with no children and small pets. May do well with a larger dog. Would be best with someone who has owned a English bulldog before. We love him but our home is not suited for him
