Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Luke is an energetic dog with a heart of gold! He will instantly charm you with his beautiful, expressive eyes.
Luke's favorite toys are bones and tennis balls. He will nudge you to ask you to toss his ball for him. Luke can be a bit rough when he plays so he'd do best in a family with older kids (think teens and up). This handsome boy is very athletic but don't let his strength fool you; Luke is as sweet as can be.
Despite his playful and spirited side, Luke is also a softie. He gives the sweetest, gentlest kisses and enjoys cuddling with those he trusts. He's very smart and already knows commands like "sit," "paw," and "down," so he's ready to learn even more with his future family! One thing to keep in mind is that Luke is food-focused, so some supervision is key when meals are around.
Luke's tail curls in the cutest way, and this sweet, active guy is looking for an equally active family to share his energy and love with. If you're looking for a dog who will keep you on your toes and shower you with affection, Luke might be your perfect match!
Luke is located at a foster home and not at the Animal Center. To get in touch with the foster family to meet Luke, email animalcenter@wake.gov with the subject line of "Luke 255475" Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: White Weight: 56 Age: 1yrs 10mths 2wks
