Welcome Emma to CCPAL foster program. Emma is a 3-year old pure English Mastiff. We do not have papers. She weighs 110 pounds. She pulls on leash but she does lean in on the person that is her person. She responds well to affection and was taking direction well in just a short period of time working with her at the Rescue. She is a gentle giant. This is a loyal breed and my experience with them is they are protective of their family once they bond. Mastiff breeds are notoriously patient and good with children. She knows Spanish and English commands. She is good with children and other dogs. She isn’t good with small dogs. She would be great with a moderately active family familiar with an XL dog or the Mastiff breed. This breed will do wonderful with strong person who knows how to give good direction. She is stunning and if you love this breed, you will love this dog. She is getting spayed soon and will be getting her vaccines and be ready for her forever home in a couple of weeks. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to be delivered to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. We are then ready to arrange for the dog to be delivered to your area.

You will fill out an application. We will call references, do a background check and call your vet. We will then do an interview with you and let you speak to the foster mom or kennel staff that know the dogs best. Once completed we are ready to set up transport to your area. Our adoption fee is 200 and transport aboard Rescue Road Trips is 185.

We promote low-cost spay/neuter programs; advise on basic health care & proper shelter for pets & offer excellent dog obedience classes several times each year. Our fostering program & training classes socialize pets & help make them more adoptable. Since February 2002, C.C.P.A.L. has rescued nearly 5,000 animals. We currently house 100+ dogs and puppies and are in constant need of foster homes for these pets until we find them permanent homes.
