Meet Dietz a 2 year old Aussie/Doole boy. Dietz spent his early life in a hoarding situation with 140 other dogs. As a result, he’s still adjusting to a world that’s new and overwhelming to him. He’s learning to trust and is beginning to feel safe in more stable environments. Dietz is a shy and timid soul, especially around new people, unfamiliar places, and loud noises. He takes his time to warm up, but once he feels secure, he shows his true, gentle nature. He’s a work-in-progress, but with patience and understanding, he’s slowly opening up to the world. Treats are a great motivator, and he’s just starting to enjoy playing with toys. While he’s still wary of some things, he’s beginning to trust more. New surroundings, strangers, and loud noises, can be very overwhelming for him, so a quiet, calm environment is ideal for Dietz. Dietz requires a patient, understanding home that can provide structure and gentle encouragement. A fenced yard is essential for him to safely explore and play at his own pace. Dietz would thrive in a calm, quiet household with someone who is willing to work with him and help him build his confidence. His ideal family will understand that progress takes time and will support him every step of the way. Dietz is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative and on heartworm preventative, de-wormed, and microchipped. Dietz’s adoption fee is $350.00.
