Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Opal is a two year old Goldendoodle that is ready to find her forever family. Her sister Ruby is about ready, just waiting to be spayed. Opal and her sister came in pretty matted and never having lived inside or being on leash even.

Ruby and Opal love each other sooooo much and we will be attempting to find them a forever home together before thinking about separating them. They've been together their whole lives and do phenomenally together. â™¥

Additional adoption info

The adoption fees are:

DOGS - $150 - Includes 2 Distemper Vaccinations, Rabies Vaccine, 2 Wormings, Flea Treatment (if needed), Vet Technician Check-up, Spay/Neuter, microchipping, heartworm/lyme test.

CATS - $50 - Same as Dogs. Also a Combination Leukemia/FIV Test and Ear
Mite Treatment.

PUPPIES - $100 + Varying Mandatory Spay/Neuter Deposit - Includes 1 or 2
Distemper Vaccinations, Rabies Vaccine (if 3 months or older), 1 or 2
Wormings, Flea Treatment (if needed.)

KITTENS - $15 + Varying Mandatory Spay/Neuter Deposit - Includes 1 or 2
Distemper Vaccinations, Rabies Vaccine (if over 3 months), 1 or 2 Wormings,
Flea Treatment (if needed), FELV Tested, Ear Mite Treatment.

The Spay/Neuter Deposit when adopting a puppy or kitten is required by state law. It is refunded at the time the puppy or kitten is spayed/neutered or covers the price of their spay or neuter in full at our Vets office.

Ayres Memorial Animal Shelter operates as a
"quality of life" shelter, and the devoted workers
are committed to making sure that every animal
in their care has exactly that.

All adult animals are spayed and neutered
prior to being made available for adoption.

In addition, all animals receive all necessary shots,
wormings, and other medical treatments.

All would-be adoptive families are carefully screened
before being allowed to take home any pet. In this
way, each adopted animal is assured of a good and
loving home.
