Hope ❤️
Hope is a young, mixed breed girl who had a rough start in life. She came in with 5 puppies & was starved completely out. Her puppies are weaned, and Hope's ready for a new beginning! Shes been in since 11-18-24. Hope was happy to get some exercise and check out all the new smells around the farm at Playcare. She showed some reactivity to other dogs and resource guarding behaviors today. All very common issues with our shelter friends! Hope would benefit from a stable environment and working with a trainer or experienced owner to help her overcome these issues. If you are interested in helping Hope, reach out to City AC!

I email application out & then call references, vet reference, & home visit (if in TN)

Meet the Pet

If in TN, we arrange meet & greet with people & other pets in home to see how it goes

3.
Approve Application

If all checks out & meeting went well, then the dog can go home with person & the final contract will be signed

Additional adoption info

If in TN, we prefer people do the foster to adopt program before finalizing the adoption. That way we know that the home is a perfect fit for the dog & the new owner.

I (Hollie) am a volunteer for City AC. I am in charge of the adoptions/fosters/ & volunteers. I am a full time teacher, but my passion is caring for animals. They need a voice & I try to do what I can to be theirs.
Keith is the Director of AC, but is very willing to work with whomever we can to get these babies into good homes! He does the stuff during week day hours & I cover the after hours & weekends.
