My name is Bentley!

Bentley is a loyal, intelligent dog who is eager to learn and easy to train. We rescued him a few years ago, and for much of that time, he was our only dog. Two years ago, he became a father to six puppies, and while we found loving homes for most of them, we kept two.

At first, Bentley was fine with the puppies, but as they grew older, he became more protective—especially around his food and the house when they come inside. He seems anxious around them and would truly thrive as the only dog in a home where he can feel secure and relaxed.

Bentley takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once he does, he’s an incredibly loyal companion. We welcome prospective adopters to visit him multiple times to ensure it’s a great match. A patient adopter who allows Bentley to build trust at his own pace, including with friends and family, will be rewarded with a devoted best friend for life.
