When considering adoption, it's important to look beyond just the cuteness. While Sully is a golden retriever (a breed many consider the perfect dog), it's essential to understand that his needs go beyond his adorable looks. He isn't the best fit for a busy family environment or homes with young children. He will be best suited in an only dog home, as well. 🏡🚸

Sully is a 2 and a half-year-old Golden Retriever who sometimes forgets he's a Golden! 😅 Unlike most of his breed, he can be selective about his dog friends and needs proper introductions. With guidance from our trainer, he has had a few successful meet-and-greets with other dogs, but he can be reactive at times. A home experienced with reactive dogs and ones who are committed to consistency would be ideal. 🐶💡

At 50 pounds and 19" tall, Sully is a mini Golden—kind of the perfect boy, if you ask us! 😍 One thing he's already mastered? His kennel—it's his safe space, and he settles in without a fuss. He is incredibly affectionate, always wanting to be near his people. He's basically a stage 5 clinger, the closer the better (and we mean that in the most endearing way)! 💖

Sully has a lot of energy—he's medium to high in the energy department—and he needs daily walks and mental stimulation. He's a playful guy who loves all toys but has a special love for his favorite green one! He also enjoys lounging in the sun and showing off his impressive list of tricks. 🌞🎾
