Check out those ears! Aren't they, and the pup that they are attached to, adorable?!? Perhaps we should have named her Helicopter instead of Pancake - lol. All kidding aside, s weet little Pancake is just around 8 months old (as of April) and she absolutely adores love and attention from both humans and other dogs. Like all puppies she enjoys playtime with her toys and/or with her human or her doggy foster siblings. She's a very good girl who sleeps through the night, is potty trained, and can be trusted when left home alone (see below for more details on that).
Pancake came to us at just around 3 weeks of age. She and her mom Shirley (who looks like a cattle dog mix) were brought to us by a sheriff after their owner was evicted. Their living conditions were deplorable but Pancake is thriving now that she is living in a temporary foster home.
Pancake is doing really well. Her foster mom says she can leave Pancake alone at home, uncrated for several hours and Pancake is a superstar. Her foster mom has a doggy camera set up so she can check in on Pancake. She says when she checks in on Pancake she sees a calm puppy who will play with her toys and then when she gets tired she will curl up and take a nap. Her foster mom says she thinks Pancake does best when left out of the crate (she will cry when left in the crate) and says Pancake will even use pee pads for potty if her foster mom isn't there to take her outside. Like I said - superstar...or maybe superpup!
Pancake has received her puppy vaccinations, is spayed, and microchipped and is currently in a foster home in PA. If you are approved to adopt, we can set up a meet and greet with her.
