My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rufus!

This four-year-old 57-pound Anatolian shepherd mix is a fun-loving guy who just can't wait to spend his days with a loving family of his own!

Not only is this pup one handsome fella, he's ready to impress! Rufus knows several commands including sit, down, and rollover. He doesn't hesitate to show off his skills for a tasty treat which he takes very gently. Rufus loves to run in the yard with his fellow kennel mates and a yard of his own to explore is a must for this curious and charismatic guy!

Based on our evaluation, we feel Rufus will do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages 12 and up. He may have the potential to live with other dogs as he has done well with them here at the kennel. We are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby.

If you'd like the chance to make Rufus part of your family, head to greatlakesdogrescue.com today and submit your application for this happy-go-lucky guy!
