Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Penny was fortunate to find a wonderful, loving foster home a few months ago, which has given us the chance to learn more about what makes her so very special!
While we knew she enjoyed playing with other dogs, we’ve discovered Penny has lots of other interests!
For instance, she's is a big fan of watching the morning news (or at least being next to someone who is watching it!), cozying up by the fireplace, snuggling on the bed (or couch...or anywhere soft & comfy!) and even enjoyss helping with the farm chores (though she does have a tendency to goof off a little!).
After having the opportunity to spend time in boarding and foster with people who have shown her love and kindness, Penny has blossomed into a happy, playful dog. And while she is still a little shy, she bonds tightly to people when given the time and patience she needs to trust.
If you're looking for a best friend for life, Penny just might be perfect for you! Apply to adopt or foster today at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt

Dogs Deserve Better is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to freeing the chained or penned dog and bringing our best friend into the home and family.
Our mission is to provide a better life for abused, neglected and abandoned canines; especially those which are chained or penned without human companionship. We strive to accomplish this through advocating for humane legislation; promoting spay and neuter; educating communities on animal welfare; and rescuing and finding loving inside homes for canines.
