Cooper is a big, lovable 80-lb Black Labrador Retriever with a heart as big as his stature! He came to us from another local rescue. At around 5 or 6 years old, this handsome guy is looking for a forever home where he can share his laid-back, easy-going personality. Cooper is a people-lover through and through – he’s friendly, gentle, and ready to be your loyal companion. He’s got a great smile that will steal your heart. While he generally walks well on a leash, Cooper is strong and may pull when something catches his interest, so he'll do best with an owner who can handle his strength. He keeps his kennel clean, showing he’s a tidy guy, and is curious about meeting other dogs but not overly pushy. Cooper can also be cat-tested to see if he could live with a feline friend.
