My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bear!

Age & Breed: 2-year-old, mixed breed with lots of spunk and spirit
Personality: Energetic and full of life, Bear is always ready for an adventure! His boundless love makes him the star of any room.
Ideal Home: Bear thrives in a family setting with children who can match his energy and playfulness. A home that enjoys outdoor activities and has ample space for running and frolicking would be ideal.
Play Preferences: Bear loves playing with toys and cherishes his playful interactions. He`s great with other dogs but prefers not to share his treats, so resource sharing should be monitored.
Exercise Needs: Daily walks and plenty of playtime will keep Bear happy and healthy. He loves exploring new places and long walks will be a great way for him to bond with his family.
Adoptable Traits: With his affectionate nature, Bear is ready to bring joy and companionship to his new home. He’s eager to find his forever home where he can both give and receive love abundantly.

More about this shelter

Our shelter was built in 2007 for the City of Hutchinson. Our goal is to help cut down on the pet-overpopulation of Reno County and to place animals in furever homes!
