Remember this sweet girl? Sadly, she was brought back to us. Her and the other dog in household were not getting along. She is available for adoption again. Stay tuned shortly for an updated reel on how she is doing now. Please serious inquiries fill out pre-adoption application.
She is good with dogs, just was not getting along with that specific dog. Good with cats and kids.


The sight that no animal rescuer wants to see walking into work on a Monday morning. Meet Remy. Remy was found tied to our adoption fence with all her belongings. With the amazing work of our Animal Control Officers and Clayton Police Department we were able to track down the owner and pursue animal cruelty charges. As a reminder to the public please please please do not abandon your pets. Our team will investigate and work countlessly until we find the person liable. We understand that times are very difficult, and we will do everything in our power to accept a dog in need of a new home. Please be patient with us as we are an open intake shelter covering all 24 towns of Gloucester County. We will do our best to make space for the pups that are of need of a new home.
As for this beautiful hippo? she is now looking for her forever home. She is 3 years old and will need a serious diet to shed off some of this unhealthy weight. She did great with dogs and cats through the cage. We believe she would be fine with kids. She is housebroken and loves walks.
