My name is Athena!

Athena is an 8 month old Dutch Shepherd mix with a lot of energy! She was found on my brother’s property and has been under my care for the last month. While she is very anxious and apprehensive of new people, once you earn her trust, she will absolutely be your best friend! As a former trainer, I have been working with her on basic obedience. She is extremely responsive to pinch training although she can be a little stubborn at times. As I’ve gotten to know her better, I realized that she needs a job! Anyone looking for a working dog or someone high energy to take her on adventures would be an excellent match for her.

She will need someone patient and understanding who is willing to take the time to earn her love but once she’s there, she has been to sweetest girl on the planet!
