My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Stella. She was born on 5/28/24 and she is a Hound mixed breed. At first glance, Stella might seem a bit reserved. New faces can make her nervous, but once trust is earned, her tail begins its joyful rhythm and her affectionate side shines bright (as you can see in her photo). Patience go a long way with this girl, and she happily repays it with unwavering loyalty and love. Stella requires a home with a fully fenced in yard. That will give her the space and security she needs to thrive, offering her the freedom to explore while staying safe. She’s been patiently waiting for the right family to come along and see what an incredible companion she will be. She is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed.

HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING:
1. Come in during adoption hours to apply and full out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.
2. We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord.
3. We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets.

Helpful reminders:
*We do not do same day adoptions.
*Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in.
*We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
