Meet Paris & London: A Story of Resilience, Love, and Hope
Some rescue stories stay with you forever. Paris and London’s journey is one of them. Just a month ago, these two young dogs were barely surviving. They were found alone at a rural dump on a South Dakota reservation, their skin raw and bloodied from mange, infections, and the harsh winter cold. Whether they were abandoned or simply lost, we’ll never know—but one thing was clear: they needed help. Luckily, a dedicated group of women who have been rescuing animals in this area for over a decade got the call. And when they put out a plea for a rescue to step up, we knew it was Paws and Claws’ turn. Their road to recovery wasn’t easy. They required extensive medical treatment, care, and patience to heal both their bodies and their spirits. But as you can see in their latest photos, Paris and London are transformed. Their coats have come back, their eyes shine with trust, and their personalities—sweet, gentle, and loving—have truly blossomed. Now, at about a year old, these two are ready to start the next chapter of their lives. They are a bonded pair, meaning they will need to go to a home together—and after everything they’ve been through, they deserve nothing less. Their bond is unbreakable, and they find comfort and confidence in one another. Paris and London are kind-hearted, easygoing, and affectionate. They get along with everyone and have shown nothing but love to the people who have cared for them. They would make incredible companions for someone looking to add twice the love to their life. We’ve put in the work to get them healthy and happy—now, they just need someone to take them home. If you’re looking for two incredible dogs who have overcome the odds and are ready to give their whole hearts to a family, Paris and London are waiting. Could it be you?
$400 adoption fee for the pair - plus $30 microchip fee for each

Paws and Claws Humane Society (PCHS) is a non-profit, mostly volunteer organization that rescues and shelters homeless cats and dogs until they can be adopted into their “forever” homes. We want our clients to understand that adopting and animal is a lifetime responsibility and commitment to that animal.
All prospective adopters must show (at the time of adoption) a valid drivers license or other acceptable identification to verify their name, address, and age. Adopters must be 18 yrs of age. Children under the age of 12 years old need to be present at time of viewing shelter cats or dogs.
After submitting an application, there is generally a processing period of 1-3 days in order to complete all pre-adoption checks and paperwork before an adopter may take possession of the animal.
