Traveler is about 5 years old, 12 lbs, and he likely has some dachshund in his mix! Traveler was confiscated from a hoarding situation. In his foster home, he is working hard on his house-training, crate training and leash walking. He could go to a home with kids 10+, and other small dogs. He has not been exposed to cats.
He is pretty nervous on walks and can bark a lot at outside noises so no apartments, please!
His foster says, `Meet Traveler! This sweet, quirky boy has a heart as big as his personality. Rescued from a tough situation where he was left outside in freezing weather, Traveler is now looking for a home where he can truly be loved and pampered. Traveler is a playful, silly soul who loves his toys and enjoys lounging with his favorite humans (though he’s not a fan of kisses). He adores dogs his size and would thrive in a home with at least one canine companion. Traveler is crate trained, mostly housebroken, and well-behaved with older kids. His playful barking is his way of keeping you aware of any visitors or nearby dogs, but it’s just part of his endearing nature.`
He is available for adoption in Worcester, MA by appointment with an approved adopter. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.
-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises. -Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt. - More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com
