Hello there! My name is Mae & I`m the shelter`s FIRST EVER `Mini` German Shepherd :)
A few days after I was brought into the shelter, I began throwing up my food so the staff took me to the vet to make sure I was in good health. They were really worried about me because I appear to be a 4-5 month old German Shepherd puppy, and they thought maybe I had contracted a parasite, infection, or virus... turns out, ALL of their assumptions were wrong.
After a full health scan, including bone x-rays, they discovered a few things: First, and most important, I wasn`t sick - just inhaling my food & upsetting my stomach to the point where I threw up. Secondly, they realized that I was an adult, probably around 18 months old.
I do extremely well with other dogs, both big & small, and I absolutely love getting attention from the girls here at the shelter! I`m everything you could ever hope to find in a German Shepherd, all in one fun-sized package! If I sound like your kind of girl, please come down to the shelter to meet me & prepare to fall in love!
