Meet Pepper – A Resilient Senior Chihuahua Mix Looking for a Loving Home!

Pepper is a 10-year-old Chihuahua mix who has endured a tough past but still has so much love to give! He is neutered, recently had a dental cleaning, and is in good health aside from a mild heart murmur that does not require medication.

Pepper came to us from Nash County, where he was confined outside his entire life, even in freezing temperatures. He was kept with other dogs without food or water, covered in urine and feces. Despite everything he has been through, Pepper remains a sweet, gentle boy who just wants a warm lap and a loving home for his golden years.

Pepper is located in the Raleigh, NC area, and we do not transport dogs. If you are outside the local area, you must be willing to travel in person to adopt him. Adoption Fee $300

Most of our dogs are seniors and we like to place them with people who are at home most of the day, including work from home.

We bring in the senior dogs and medically needy dogs.
We are a small rescue making a difference in the world. No dog deserves to dumped in a shelter after giving their entire life to a family.

I had locked myself away from the world back in 2010. I saw this tiny ShihTzu on the news that had been saved from a puppy mill bust. I adopted Princess Reagan Marie and she saved my life. I wanted to help other dogs so I started fostering. In May 2021 I open my rescue.
