Meet Freckles - she's cute, playful, and full of love! She is eager to please, and treat motivated. This friendly and energetic girl is a young adult dog with the energy expected of a Border Collie mix. Freckles is a bit more dominant with dogs smaller than she is, she wants to "herd" them so she would do best with dogs her size or larger, otherwise she would be great as an only dog.
Freckles is a smart cookie who loves to explore, so she's looking for an active person or family who can keep up with her. She would be great as a hiking companion, or a dog you want to take with you on outings.
-Freckles would do well with some additional training, she is very trainable.
-SMART girl
-Estimated to be a year old and in the 35 lb range
-Not ideal for a home with young toddlers.

Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, Microchip, heartworm tested, Mississippi Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you

We are located in South Mississippi, but travel up the east coast regularly (every 3 to 4 weeks) with pre-adopted animals.Dixie Adoptables is one of many shelters working to get animals out of the area where shelters are always full, and adoptions of the sweet babies are hard to come by. We are grateful to every person that chooses to adopt and give a home to a loving animal, whose only fault was being born in a part of the country where their value is underappreciated and spay/neuter is done far too infrequently.Dixie Adoptables is a 501c3 rescue
