My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Prepare to have your heart stolen by this breathtaking beauty!

Meet Gia-

This sweet and sensitive, fawn female Miniature Pinscher is approximately 8 months old and 10.5 lbs. She is amazingly smart and unbelievably easygoing. It’s hard to imagine how such an extraordinary pup was found as a stray. Gia is filled with endless personality and never passes up the chance to go on an adventure to feed her curiosity. She has a gentle soul and thrives on love and affection. We feel she would do best in a moderately calm home where she is not left alone for an extended period. Gia is dog-friendly and likely fine with older children that will respect her delicate stature. When it’s time to wind down for the evening, Gia finds comfort in cuddling up alongside her beloved human.

If you’d like to be considered as Gia’s forever home, please submit an application using the following link:

https://www.minpinrescue.org/home.html

Note: Gia is located in Northern California and we will not fly this girl. She is available for adoption to California residents or possibly bordering states. The adopter selected for her must be willing to meet at her location.

If you have previously submitted an application there is no need to reapply.

Please Submit an Application so we can get your adoption process started. http://mgbeng.com/home_pw.html

A Volunteer will come to your home. And a possible meet and greet with the foster dog at that time

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must pass a veterinary reference check and home visit. IMPS requires reimbursement of all necessary veterinary costs (eg. the cost of the spay/neuter, microchipping, and any veterinary care required prior to placement), and in some instances, travel costs. A donation to the organization is requested with each adoption so that we may continue to care for chronically ill and/or severely injured foster dogs. In all cases, any expenses related to the adoption will be agreed upon prior to placement. While the Adoption expenses may be negotiable for some dogs, please remember that the care and upkeep of a dog, even the "King of Toys", requires some financial outlay, and if a small placement expense is beyond your means, you may wish to consider a pet which does not require as much care as the Miniature Pinscher.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All of our rescued min pins are now living in loving foster homes throughout the country and Canada. To start the process please fill out an Adoption Application . The success of IMPS is only possible with the volunteers who have agreed to help with the rescue and placement of miniature pinschers. Assistance from our team of volunteers includes fostering, assistance with owner give-ups & home checks, local shelter checks, and transport & placement of min pins to approved homes. IMPS is in need of volunteers in all of the above described areas. To volunteer, please fill out the Volunteer Application

More about this rescue

The Internet Miniature Pinscher Service, Inc. (IMPS) was formed in July of 1998 with the adoption of Lister through the Miniature Pinscher e-mail group at saluki.org. For information on the Miniature Pinscher e-mail list, please visit the Minpin List . The IMPS mission is to improve the lives of homeless and abandoned Miniature Pinschers through rescue and the love and respect that comes with humane care, compassion and kindness. IMPS attempts to assist Miniature Pinschers in need by providing foster care, transport, adoptive homes, veterinary care, and other services and information for the well-being of Miniature Pinschers. All Miniature Pinschers placed through IMPS will be spayed or neutered prior to placement, and have been thoroughly evaluated by a breed representative for temperament and training needs.
